As you may have read in our previous posts, Jewel Empire has been a proud supporter and sponsor of the inaugural season of the NBL1 in Victoria. We were beyond excited to hear that in 2020 Basketball Queensland will also be joining the NBL1.
The NBL1’s first season was a huge success and gave many semi-professional players the platform to make it to the next level. It was impressive to watch the development of the NBL1 from SEABL and now to watch them grow further with Queensland Basketball.
It is also a great move for basketball fans around the country who can now watch their favourite team play home and away with all games live streamed.
We look forward to building our relationship with the NBL1 including this new faction in QLD. Fingers crossed that our friend at NBL1 can continue to expand this across the country and into every state.
