A ring is a symbol. Symbols have meanings that we infuse onto them. Those meanings live in our minds, not in the items themselves. So what meaning do we infuse onto having a championship ring? They are a constant reminder of the blood, sweat and tears shed across an athletes journey. The endless days and nights spent perfecting their craft. And ultimately, a moment frozen in time, forged in metal, when they finally broke through and became a winner. A champion! 

 

That is something you would never box up and put under your bed.
