It has been a big year for Jewel Empire. We have made so many new connections and new business relationships this year which has seen us expand into new areas and break through boundaries. Here’s our top 5 moments of 2019:
NBL1 Finals Sponsorship

Jewel Empire had its first major sponsorship deal in 2019, with the sponsorship of the inaugural NBL1 Grand Final series. It was humbling to see our name up in lights along the court and in the sponsors box but even more spectacular to see the players receive our rings and the joy a championship ring brings them. We can’t wait to continue the relationship with NBL1 next year and hopefully develop our connection with the Queensland NBL1 branch beginning next year.
Big V Basketball breaking boundaries

Big V basketball were our first ever championship ring clients so it is only right that we broke the barriers with them this year. We made a game changing deal with Big V Basketball to create rings for every grade in the league. We believe all players deserve championship rings and the meaning that comes along with it. Players have had enough of meaningless trophies and our friends at Big V agreed. It’s a new way of thinking and we are excited to take this journey with them.
West Coast Eagles

2019 seen us create the beautiful championship rings for the 2018 AFL Premiership winning team, West Coast Eagles. We are beyond proud of these rings. Every detail in these rings has a meaning and a special place in the players hearts including their player numbers on the side of the ring, the message to their families under the rings to the outline of their homeground embedded in the detailing. This is why championship rings are the perfect award for players - it’s personal and it reflects the journey.

Hawks party like it’s 1999
They waited 20 years for their moment and this year was their year. We were given the special task of creating a 20th anniversary Big V Championship Ring for Ringwood Hawks this year. They had a few requests in the design for this one including taking inspiration from the 1999 NBA championship ring but they also wanted a design that brought back all the memories and feelings of that day 20 years ago. We have a long history with the Ringwood Hawks and its was truly amazing to see the 76rings presented to the players and the memories
come flooding back which is why it has made our top moments of the year.

Extending the family - Welcome Medal & Trophy Industries
We have finished off the year adding a new member to our family - Medal & Trophy Industries. Jewel Empire Founder Troy recognised that rings are not always the answer and wanted to take on a new challenge providing first class medals, trophies and awards to sports and corporate events. He now has another new business which we will be using for all our awards outside of rings. Medal & Trophy Industries have already serviced us including providing all glass awards for NBL1 Finals series among many more. For more info contact mtindustries@bigpond.com
